In my prime I am helpful
But at times I make you weak
I can help you or hurt you
I am good with no face.
You can buckle and bend
To my extreme power
Watch me closely
For in extreme rations I am dangerous.
For most I am desired
However, unwanted at times
That’s always how it is when you’re
Playing with fire.
I work with you,
Yet against you
To help make things right
I can contort your mind
If you put up a fight.
Listen to me
Hear what I have to say
For you may just discover
I will be needed someday.
